The Zendesk App integration requires an API token and your Zendesk domain. Make sure you have the appropriate permissions to access tickets and groups in your Zendesk account.

Best Practices

Working with Zendesk Data

  • •Use ticket filters to retrieve only the data you need
  • •Implement error handling for API timeouts and rate limits
  • •Keep your API token secure and rotate it periodically
  • •Use groups to organize and route tickets effectively
  • •Monitor ticket resolution times and SLA compliance

Troubleshooting

Authentication Issues

  • •Verify that your API token is valid and hasn't been revoked
  • •Ensure your Zendesk domain is correctly formatted (e.g., yourcompany.zendesk.com)
  • •Check that API access is enabled in your Zendesk account settings

Ticket Access Issues

  • •Ensure you have permissions to view tickets in your account
  • •Verify that tickets haven't been deleted or archived
  • •Check group permissions if tickets are not appearing

Rate Limiting

  • •Zendesk enforces rate limits based on your account plan
  • •Implement delays between bulk operations to avoid rate limits
  • •Monitor your API usage through Zendesk's admin console
